RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's Hajj and Umrah Minister Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah started an official visit to Bahrain to discuss the facilities provided to pilgrims.
Dr. Al-Rabiah is accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising ministry officials, partners of Hajj and Umrah system, and representatives of the private sector entities that serve the guests of God.
The visit is aimed at discussing ways of cooperation between the two kingdoms about facilitating the arrival procedures for Umrah pilgrims from Bahrain.
It also aims to enrich the pilgrims' religious and cultural experience and highlight the advantages of the Visit Visa program for Bahrain residents and introduce the features of Nusuk digital platform and its multiple services.
The minister is scheduled to hold several meetings with Bahraini officials and Hajj and Umrah service providers to discuss the mechanisms for educating pilgrims on the facilities provided to guests coming from Bahrain to Makkah and Madinah.
Bahrain represents a new stop in the international communication tours of the minister that aim at shedding light on the qualitative shift witnessed in the pilgrimage procedures and services.The tours highlight future plans for hosting pilgrims and visitors in line with the goals of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
