RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan made a phone call on Tuesday to his Austrian counterpart Alexander Schallenberg.

During the phone call the two sides discussed the dangerous escalation by the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza and its surroundings.

Prince Faisal and Schallenberg stressed the need for the international community to assume its responsibilities toward stopping the military escalation that sheds the blood of unarmed civilians.

They also called on them to find a just and comprehensive solution that meets the aspirations of the Palestinian people.

Furthermore, the two foreign ministers reviewed the relation between Saudi Arabia and Austria, and ways to support and enhance them to serve the common interest.

Exchanging views on several regional and international issues were also reviewed during the phone call.
