PARIS — The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), leading Saudi Arabia's bid for World Expo 2030, wrapped up its campaign with a dazzling closing ceremony in Paris on Monday.

Attended by dignitaries, ministers, and a high-ranking Saudi delegation, the event showcased the Kingdom's commitment to hosting an innovative and impactful World Expo.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal Bin Farhan emphasized the bid's alignment with Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman's vision for a groundbreaking World Expo.

The closing ceremony, held ahead of the final voting later this month, demonstrated the Kingdom's dedication to meeting the technical and organizational requirements of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE).

Riyadh Expo 2030 aims to set new standards in sustainability, fair pavilion distribution, and technological utilization.

The Kingdom is poised to deliver a transformative World Expo, supported by wise leadership, government institutions, the private sector, and the enthusiasm of Saudi citizens.

The ceremony highlighted Riyadh's readiness to host the Expo, focusing on the main theme, 'The Era of Change: Together for a Foresighted Tomorrow,' with subthemes including 'A Better Tomorrow,' 'Climate Action,' and 'Prosperity for All.'

An exhibition showcased the capital city's growth, urban transformation, and Saudi Arabia's vision for global participation in constructing the Riyadh Expo 2030 site.

The Expo will feature the 'One Country, One Pavilion' plan, inviting developed and developing nations to participate.

Additionally, the Collaborative Change Corner (C3) will serve as an innovative hub, showcasing international collaboration in scientific, social, and technical innovations.

The closing ceremony also featured a captivating live performance, highlighting the rich art, culture, and music of the Kingdom.

The Riyadh Expo 2030 bids to be a global platform for positive change and collaboration.
