Saudi Noor: KSrelief launches voluntary program to combat blindness in Morocco

RABAT — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched the Saudi Noor Voluntary Project to Combat Blindness and diseases that cause it in Boulemane town, Morocco.

The program, which is being carried out in cooperation with the World Sight Foundation, has taken place from November 3, and will last until the 10th of the month.

Since the start of the campaign, the volunteer medical team of KSrelief has examined 1,345 cases and carried out 82 surgical operations to remove cataracts, in addition to handing over 345 medical glasses.

This project comes as an extension for the voluntary medical projects related to combating blindness and diseases that cause it, provided by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, in order help patients and people suffering from eye diseases in countries and peoples in need around the world.
