STOCKHOLM — Saudi Arabia's Economy and Planning Minister Faisal bin Fadel Al-Ibrahim has met with a number of Swedish officials during his official visit to Sweden to enhance cooperation between the two in the economic sector.
Al-Ibrahim met with Jan Knutsson, Swedish State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, and discussed ways to enhance economic and investment relations, as well as several topics of common interest.
The Saudi minister also met with Johan Forssell, Sweden's minister for international development cooperation. The two ministers discussed means of strengthening bilateral economic, investment and trade relations.
Al-Ibrahim and Forssell also touched on opportunities for cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Al-Ibrahim also held a meeting with President of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce Staffan Salen and CEO Dr. Andreas Hatzigeorgiou, during which they discussed opportunities for further cooperation between the private sectors in Saudi Arabia and Sweden.
The meetings were attended by Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Sweden Inas Bint Ahmed Al-Shahwan.
