RIYADH — Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan met in Riyadh on Thursday with Somali Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Abshir Omar Jama on the sidelines of the Arab foreign ministers’ preparatory meeting for the extraordinary session of the Arab Summit.

During the meeting, the two ministers discussed bilateral relations, ways of strengthening and developing them in various fields, and issues of mutual interest.

The foreign ministers signed a general agreement for cooperation between the two countries, which comes within the desire of their governments to strengthen the existing ties of cooperation, support historical relations between the two brotherly peoples, and develop cooperation in many fields to achieve greater development and prosperity.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eng. Waleed Al-Khuraiji and Director General of the Foreign Minister's Office Abdulrahman Al-Dawood attended the meeting. — SPA
