LONDON — NEOM, the pioneering sustainable regional development in northwest Saudi Arabia, has marked a significant milestone by inaugurating its first international office in London.

Positioned as a strategic base for NEOM's operations across Europe, the official opening was graced by Prince Khalid bin Bandar, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Oliver Dowden, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, and Nadhmi Al-Nasr, NEOM's CEO.

Situated in Chancery House in Holborn's central district, the London office underscores NEOM's commitment to expanding its global presence, building on successful collaborations with UK entities.

The local presence aims to foster new collaborations, fortify existing relationships, and expedite efforts in addressing global challenges related to livability, business, and conservation.

As NEOM's inaugural international office, the UK base will also serve as a hub for supporting business endeavors across Europe, leveraging established partnerships with stakeholders, investors, and collaborators on the continent, while fostering new connections.

Prince Khalid bin Bandar emphasized NEOM's mission to transform global living and working standards.

The London office provides a platform to introduce the project's global significance to UK investors, organizations, and innovators, showcasing the crucial role the UK and its industry leaders will play in NEOM's pursuit of advancing human progress and shaping a new future.

Dowden expressed delight in joining the celebration of NEOM's London office opening. Acknowledging the integration of NEOM into London's finance and tech ecosystems, he highlighted the potential for London to become NEOM's second home for design and project management, fostering investment and growth across the UK.

Al-Nasr stressed the importance of having a global footprint and collaborating with the world's brightest minds to address pressing global challenges. The selection of London for NEOM's first international office aligns with the strategy to consolidate presence in the UK and Europe. NEOM has already established exciting investments and partnerships with UK and European entities, and the London office will further explore opportunities for collaboration while promoting NEOM's unique capabilities and investment prospects.

Abdallah Al Hazani, transitioning from his role as an Executive Director of Oxagon, NEOM's center for advanced and clean industries, will lead the new NEOM Europe entity as CEO. With prior experience as an Executive Director of NEOM Investment Fund, he brings valuable insights to drive NEOM's European initiatives.
