RIYADH
— President Hakainde Hichilema of Zambia underscored the significance of the strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia in advancing and empowering the African continent's economy for the betterment of the people.

Speaking at the Saudi-African Summit in Riyadh on Friday, President Hichilema emphasized Zambia's commitment to fostering relationships that enhance the utilization of wealth, both individually and collectively, to achieve prosperity on a global scale.

Highlighting Africa's potential as a future global energy supplier, particularly in green energy and the green economy, the Zambian president acknowledged the Kingdom's commendable efforts in developing green cities. He expressed optimism about the ongoing relations that bring mutual benefits to African countries.

President Hichilema extended gratitude to the Kingdom for its efforts in promoting regional and global peace. Looking ahead, he expressed eagerness to elevate and broaden bilateral ties, aiming for greater and more profound horizons to realize shared interests and collaborative achievements.
