RIYADH — Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah expressed profound concern over indescribable crimes perpetrated against our Palestinian brothers in Gaza.

Speaking at the extraordinary joint Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh on Saturday, he denounced the Israeli occupation for imposing unjustified collective punishment, marked by dual standards that defy international and humanitarian resolutions.

Sheikh Mishal called upon the international community, specifically the UN Security Council (UNSC), to fulfill its role in promptly ending the bloodshed and providing international protection for the Palestinian people.

He welcomed the UN General Assembly's decision to call for a humanitarian truce, emphasizing its reflection of the severe crisis in Gaza.

Emphasizing Kuwait's commitment to sustainable peace in the region, Sheikh Mishal advocated for a final and just solution to the Palestinian cause in line with the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant international references.

He reiterated that addressing this cause remains a top priority in Kuwait's foreign policy.
