RIYADH — Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi affirmed that Israeli forces violated humanitarian values and launched a brutal attack on Gaza.

He pointed out that the majority of the casualties are children, women, and medical and relief teams.

President Raisi, speaking at the extraordinary joint Arab- Islamic summit held in Riyadh on Saturday, emphasized the importance of an immediate ceasefire and the unrestricted opening of the Rafah crossing.

He called for a historic and decisive decision regarding the events in Palestinian territories.

He added that the Israeli displacement of Palestinians constitutes war crimes.
