RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman received a phone call from Australia's Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Richard Marles.

During the phone call, they reviewed bilateral relations and discussed prospects of cooperation between the defense ministries of both countries.

Prince Khalid and Marles also touched on the most notable issues of mutual interest.

The latest developments in Gaza and its surroundings were also discussed during the phone call. The Saudi defense minister reaffirmed the importance of immediately halting military operations, sparing the lives of innocent civilians, and allowing entry of humanitarian aid to the besieged enclave.
