RIYADH — The Musaned platform, under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD), has announced the resumption of insurance service for domestic worker contracts.
The resumption of the service came after the platform revealed earlier that it was not possible to issue insurance on domestic worker contracts due to work on improvement procedures for the service.
Musaned said that the service is available right now, and the customers can benefit from it by agreeing to enter into the insurance service when contracting through the platform.
It is noteworthy that insurance service on domestic worker contracts aims to preserve the rights of employer and worker by compensating them through insurance benefits.
Compensation will be made within the first two years from the date the domestic worker begins work.
The platform clarified that insurance is not considered mandatory for current domestic workers and when transferring services.
It also indicated in its official account on the X platform that it provides insurance services for new contracts, but currently, it is not possible to insure domestic workers after concluding the contract without choosing insurance through the Musaned platform.
