JEDDAH — In a highly anticipated clash in the 14th round of the Saudi Pro League, Al Ahli and Al Shabab played out a stalemate on Saturday.

Despite relentless efforts from both teams throughout the 90 minutes, neither side managed to find the back of the net, resulting in a goalless draw.

The draw saw Al Ahli increase their point tally to 27, securing the third position, while Al Shabab moved to 16 points, occupying the tenth spot in the league standings.

In another fixture, Al Wehda secured a 3-1 victory over Al Khaleej. Odion Ighalo opened the scoring for Al Wehda in the third minute, Fabio Martins equalized for Al Khaleej in the 22nd minute from a penalty, and Ighalo regained the lead for Al Wehda in the 58th minute.

Ighalo continued his stellar performance, securing his hat-trick with another goal in the 80th minute from a penalty.

The win propelled Al Wehda to 19 points, securing the ninth position, while Al Khaleej remained at 13 points, occupying the 14th spot in the league.

Damac achieved a significant 4-2 victory over Abha. George Kevin Nkoudou scored twice for Damac, once in the 44th minute and another from a penalty in the first-half injury time.

Abha pulled one back in the 64th minute through Badr Manshi, but Nkoudou secured his hat-trick in the injury time of the second half from a penalty. Assan Ceesay added the fourth goal for Damac three minutes later.

Damac moved to 18 points, securing the 10th position, while Abha remained at 13 points, occupying the 15th spot in the league.

In other matches of the same round, Al-Fayha defeated Al-Fateh 1-0, with Anthony Nwakaeme scoring the only goal for Al-Fayha in the 39th minute.

Al-Fayha now has 19 points, securing the eighth position, while Al-Fateh remains at 24 points, occupying the sixth spot.
