Saudi Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing starts official visit to Morocco

Saudi Arabia's Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majid Al-Hogail started a 3-day official visit to Morocco with the aim of enhancing bilateral relations between the two kingdoms.

The official visit, which is taking place from November 28 to 30, will also review the successful experiences between Saudi Arabia and Morocco in a number of fields related to city infrastructure, real estate development, and enhancing sustainable urban development.

Al-Hogail inaugurated the visit with a meeting with Morocco's Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development Leila Benali, in the presence of Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Morocco Abdullah Al-Ghurairi.

The Saudi minister commended the depth of the historical relations between the two countries, expressing his aspiration to enhance cooperation, joint work, and exchanging successful experiences between them in the municipality, housing sectors and their related fields.

He also reviewed the developments that Saudi Arabia is witnessing in different fields, especially in the fields of infrastructure, housing and real estate development in the light of government programs and initiatives supervised by the ministry to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

The minister also touched on the great advantages that the municipal and residential sectors receive from the leadership of Saudi Arabia and their keenness to provide adequate housing for citizens and the highest standards of quality of life for residents and visitors in various regions of the Kingdom.

Furthermore, the Saudi minister met with Moroccan Minister of Equipment and Water Nizar Baraka, as the two sides reviewed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences in the field of city infrastructure.

Al-Hogail's visit to Morocco will witness meetings with a number of government officials, heads of companies, and Moroccan businessmen.

This comes with the aim of reviewing the Moroccan experiences in a number of fields as well as the promising opportunities that Saudi Arabia offers in a qualitative environment to attract investment in various economic and development sectors in various regions of the Kingdom.
