JEDDAH — A traveler with fake identity was arrested by immigration officials at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. Saudi Arabia's General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) announced on Thursday.

The Jawazat stated that the traveler holds Pakistani nationality, and he was coming to Saudi Arabia with the intention of staying in the country illegally.

It said the man traveled using another person’s travel documents.

The Jawazat confirmed in a statement that legal procedures against the accused have been completed.
