RIYADH — Al Hilal extended its lead in the Saudi Professional League with a 2-0 victory against Al Wehda in the 17th round of the league.

The match saw Al Hilal dominate, with Saud Abdul Hamid opening the scoring in the 20th minute and Aleksandar Mitrović sealing the win with a second goal in the 80th minute.

This victory elevates Al Hilal's points tally to 47, firmly positioning them at the top of the league standings, while Al Wehda remains at 22 points in the ninth spot.

In another match of the round, Damac secured a narrow 1-0 win over Al Raed. The sole goal of the match came from Georges-Kévin Nkoudou in the 42nd minute. This win boosts Damac's points to 27, placing them sixth in the league, while Al Raed is left with 13 points, ranking seventeenth.

The third match of the round featured a 1-1 draw between Al Shabab and Al Fateh. Al Fateh initially led with a goal by Mourad Batna in the 15th minute, but Al Shabab responded with an equalizer from Abdullah Redif in the 58th minute. This result brings Al Shabab to 18 points, securing the eleventh position, while Al Fateh's points rise to 25, placing them seventh in the league.
