RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh received Iran's Ambassador to the Kingdom Dr. Ali Reza Enayati in Riyadh.
During the meeting, Al-Sheikh highlighted the blessed efforts made by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman, which serves Islam, Muslims, Islamic and humanitarian work, which reflects the true image of the Islamic religion.
He also indicated that the Ministry seeks through its various programs to demonstrate the tolerance of the Islamic religion and that it is a religion of moderation and calls for coexistence and compassion among all people.
In turn, the Irani ambassador commended the great efforts made by Saudi Arabia to serve Islam, Muslims, spreading moderate Islam, serving the Two Holy Mosques and the Holy sites.
This is in addition to the massive expansion projects witnessed by the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, so that Hajj pilgrims, Umrah performers, worshippers and visitors perform their rituals in comfort.
He also praised the Ministry' great work that serves Islam and Muslims, both with regard to taking care of the Holy Qur’an and organizing competitions that help and encourage young people to turn to the Book of God Almighty.
He also commended its organization of competitions that help and encourage young people to become interested in the Qur’an or in Islamic studies and research that benefit the general public.
