ADEN — The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) marked a significant milestone today by laying the cornerstone for the Dar Al-Salam Model School project in Aden.
This initiative will encompass constructing and outfitting a facility boasting 12 classrooms, administrative offices, chemistry and computer labs, and dual basketball and volleyball courts.
This project is a direct response to the pressing need for education, aiming to cater to students' requirements and offer new educational prospects within a stimulating, safe, and supportive learning environment.
Its primary focus is to harness and invest in the potential and abilities of students.
The SDRPY has successfully implemented 229 development projects and initiatives across various Yemeni governorates.
These endeavors have been pivotal in serving the Yemeni populace, spanning seven vital sectors: education, healthcare, water, energy, transportation, agriculture, and fisheries.
Moreover, these efforts have included capacity-building for government institutions and the implementation of diverse developmental programs. — SPA
