The boxing world is abuzz with excitement as ‘Day of Reckoning’, the trailblazing boxing film trailer, surpasses a staggering 150 million views within just a week of its release. Unveiled by Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), the trailer promotes the much-anticipated boxing event of the same name, scheduled for December 23 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Renowned for its exceptional cinematic quality and innovative approach, the trailer has been lauded for revolutionizing sports promotion films. It features renowned boxers, set to appear on the fight night, transformed into zombies. The film has garnered global acclaim across various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, with a notable 123 million views on one platform alone.

Overseen by Turki Alalshikh and produced in collaboration with Big Time Creative Shop, GEA’s creative agency, the project showcases a unique blend of boxing and cinematic creativity under the direction of Romain Chassaing.

Praised by leading media as ‘one of the greatest fight promos ever’, the film adds a touch of Hollywood to the sport, sparking excitement among fans. It features captivating scenes like Deontay Wilder and Frank Warren in a thrilling van chase, Anthony Joshua signing a contract in blood, and Filip Hrgovic replacing his eyeball, among other striking visuals.

Director Romain Chassaing shared the enjoyable experience of the shoot, highlighting the fun dynamics between boxers like Anthony Joshua, Eddie Hearn, and Deontay Wilder.

With the event just days away, the ‘Day of Reckoning’ fight card includes high-profile bouts such as Anthony Joshua vs. Otto Wallin, Joseph Parker vs. Deontay Wilder, and several other eagerly awaited matches featuring Daniel Dubois, Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic, Mark De Mori, Dmitry Bivol, Lyndon Arthur, Jai Opetaia, Ellis Zorro, Arslanbek Makhmudov, Agit Kabayel, Frank Sanchez, and Junior Fa.
