Saudi, Uzbek deal to implement renewable energy and green hydrogen project

RIYADH Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman met with Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kochkarov in Riyadh on Thursday. During the meeting, they discussed ways to further strengthen joint cooperation between the two countries in various fields of energy.

Prince Abdulaziz and Kochkarov also witnessed the signing of an agreement to implement an 800 megawatts renewable energy and integrated green hydrogen project. The agreement was signed by the Saudi company ACWA Power with the Uzbek Ministry of Energy, and Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, and the Uzbek Yukmeosanoat Company.
