JEDDAH —
In a historic moment for the club, Manchester City has been crowned FIFA Club World Cup Champions for the first time, following a resounding 4-0 victory over Brazilian team Fluminense.

The match, held at the King Abdullah Sports City stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, showcased Manchester City's dominance on the global football stage.

Managed by Pep Guardiola, the team added this global title to their impressive collection of trophies, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, and European Super Cup from the previous season.

The match kicked off with an immediate goal from striker Julian Alvarez, who skillfully chested and converted Nathan Ake's rebounded shot from the right post into the net, just 40 seconds into the game. Fluminense's challenges were further compounded by an own goal from defender Nino following an attempt by Phil Foden, who later scored City's third goal with a stunning 72nd-minute strike.

Alvarez completed Manchester City's triumph with a precise low shot just two minutes before the final whistle, solidifying their victory and marking a new chapter in the club's history as Club World Cup Champions.
