Saudi Gazette report
RIYADH — The spokesperson of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Samir Al-Jutaili confirmed that about 2,800 tons of Saudi aid has arrived in Gaza.
Speaking to Al-Ekhbariya, Al-Jutaili said that the 2,800 tons of aid included food baskets — each basket containing 70 kg of canned goods and other dry materials such as flour, sugar, tea, and more.
He pointed out that the nutritional facts of each food basket are carefully calculated. It is enough for a family of 7 people for an entire month.
The spokesperson said that there are approximately 60 trucks at the Rafah Border Crossing waiting to enter Gaza.
There are also 250 containers, which are considered part of the containers that were carried by the fourth Saudi ship in Port Said.
Procedures of the fourth Saudi ship are being completed, and will be transported to the Rafah Border Crossing through the Egyptian city of El-Arish, he said.
Al-Jutaili explained that there is a second type of aid, medical aid, noting that it has entered Gaza since the start of the Saudi campaign to relieve the Palestinians.
He confirmed that this medical aid is transferred through the Palestinian Red Crescent Society and distributed to currently operating hospitals.
