Border Guards thwart attempt to smuggle 1,693 kg of hashish in Najran

NAJRAN — Colonel Misfer Al-Quraini, official spokesman of the Border Guard, has stated that land patrols in the Sharurah Governorate of the Najran region have thwarted an attempt to smuggle 1,693 kilograms of hashish.

Al-Quraini confirmed the arrest of the individuals involved, including one Yemeni and two citizens. Legal measures have been taken against the men, and the confiscated contraband has been handed over to the competent authority.

Security agencies are calling on the public to report any information concerning drug smuggling or trafficking by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern regions, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
