JEDDAH
— Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Emir of Makkah Region, welcomed Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz to Jeddah upon his arrival to commence his duties as Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prince Khalid congratulated his deputy on the trust placed in him by the leadership, which was reflected in his appointment as deputy emir. He emphasized the great responsibility and honor of the role, especially considering that the region encompasses the holiest sites in Islam, which necessitates continuous efforts to serve the guests of the Holy Mosque and ensure their comfort and convenience.

Prince Khalid emphasized the importance of following the leadership's directives aimed at achieving development across all provinces of the region. He also stressed the need to meet with locals, listen to their grievances, and address any challenges they face.

Prince Saud bin Mishal expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to Prince Khalid for his guidance, which serves the best interests of the region and its people. He lauded the comprehensive development witnessed by the region, attributing it to Allah's grace and the unwavering support from the rulers, as well as Prince Khalid's diligent oversight of regional affairs. He affirmed his determination to fulfill the leadership's aspirations and the hopes and ambitions of the region's residents and visitors.
