RIYADH — Riyadh's traffic authorities have apprehended a vehicle driver responsible for hitting two individuals following a road accident, resulting in a tragic hit-and-run case.

The General Directorate of Traffic clarified that the incident led to the death of one person and injured the other.

In an another incident, the Directorate arrested a citizen for reckless driving.

The individual deliberately crashed into multiple vehicles and attempted to run over people before fleeing the scene.

It has confirmed that the suspects have been detained and referred to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures.
