Islamic Civilization Village: A new cultural hub in Madinah

— Rua Al Madinah Holding has announced the launch of the Islamic Civilization Village project, a new cultural and educational hub in Madinah designed to offer visitors a deep dive into Islamic heritage. This initiative aims to create a unique and attractive Islamic destination, enhancing the experience of guests from around the globe visiting Madinah.

The project promises a multifaceted cultural and edutainment experience. It features a variety of activities, outstanding hospitality services, and historical shows that explore different aspects of Islamic world history. The village will allow visitors to explore the rich and intricate history of ancient Islamic civilization.

Spanning over 257,000 square meters, the Islamic Civilization Village is divided into eight distinct geographical zones: the Arabian Peninsula, Mashriq, Islamic South Asia, Maghrib, SEAN, the Silk Road, Al Andalus, and Africa. Each zone reflects the diverse heritage and history of the Islamic world, including the deep roots of the Kingdom's history as the cradle of Islam.

Visitors can expect a range of experiences, including diverse retail outlets, various dining options, culturally unique cafes, and interactive shows. The Village also includes green spaces for relaxation and contemplation.

Eng. Ahmed Al-Juhani, CEO of Rua Al Madinah Holding, emphasized the project's role as an educational and entertaining cultural hub. It aims to showcase the scientific achievements and contributions of Muslims throughout history through its cultural components and interactive content. He highlighted the project's importance as a transformative addition to Madinah, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The Islamic Civilization Village is not just a cultural attraction but also a potential economic catalyst. It offers opportunities for private sector involvement, promising investment prospects, and job creation for Saudi nationals, further enhancing Madinah's status as a leading Islamic tourist destination.
