DOHA — Roberto Mancini, the Italian head coach of the Saudi Arabian national football team, has decided to exclude Ayman Yahya, Abbas Al-Hassan, and Nawaf Al-Aqidi from the final roster of the national team for the 2023 Asian Cup.

According to an official statement from the Saudi team, Mancini has included Mohammed Al-Buraik, Talal Haji, and Mohammed Al-Yami in the final list.

Additionally, Mancini allowed player Rayan Hamid to leave the Saudi national team camp and rejoin the under-23 Olympic team camp.

The Italian coach declined to discuss any specific details about the training camp.

Speaking to the media before the start of a training session on Saturday, he said, "I welcome everyone, but I will not speak today. I will take your questions at the press conference before the match."

The Saudi team is set to commence its journey in the tournament currently being held in Qatar.

They will face the Oman national team on Tuesday, being in Group Six alongside Thailand and Kyrgyzstan.
