RIYADH — In a step toward bolstering tourism relations, a Saudi delegation led by Sultan Al Musallam, Deputy Minister of Tourism for International Affairs, participated in the Saudi-Spanish Tourism Partnership Activation Committee meeting in Madrid. The gathering, which was also attended by Spanish Secretary of State for Tourism Rosana Murillo and other high-ranking officials from both nations, focused on reinforcing the strategic tourism partnership.
Key discussions centered on initiatives for training tourism personnel in hospitality and hotel management at Spain's leading institutes. The talks also covered ways to boost tourism investment opportunities between Saudi Arabia and Spain. The committee underscored its commitment to enhancing tourism cooperation, with a special emphasis on promoting Saudi Arabia’s tourist attractions and events to attract Spanish tourists.
