— Dr. Walid Al-Samaani, Saudi Minister of Justice, emphasized the historic nature of the Kingdom's current legal and societal evolution during a meeting with opinion writers and media professionals in Riyadh on Wednesday. He noted the comprehensive development of various sectors under the Crown Prince's leadership over the past eight years, including significant legislative advancements.

The minister underscored the extensive work in specialized legislation, aligning it with the best international practices. He highlighted the Crown Prince's direct involvement in leading this legislative reform, focusing on embedding principles of justice, transparency, and human rights protection.

Dr. Al-Samaani also detailed several key elements that have significantly enhanced the judiciary's objectivity. These include completing the legislative structure in both substantive and procedural terms, strengthening the judiciary's institutional framework, and initiating transformative projects.

A crucial aspect of this transformation, as explained by the minister, is the digital shift. He clarified that this transformation extends beyond just guarantees and infrastructure; it is fundamentally about reshaping business operations. This digital shift is focused on streamlining procedures, bolstering transparency, and ensuring and monitoring judicial guarantees from both objective and legislative perspectives.
