RIYADH — Maj. Gen. Muhammad Al-Ruwaili, commander of the Armed Forces Command Staff College and director of the National Defense University, revealed that the Armed Forces Command Staff College will soon be transformed into the National Defense University.

Speaking to Al-Ekhbariya channel, Maj. Gen. Al-Ruwaili highlighted the importance of this transformation. “It is a major turning point in the mission of the National Defense University concerned with the concept of comprehensive national security,” he said while emphasizing the significance of exhibitions and events being held in the Kingdom, including the World Defense Show 2024.

Maj. Gen. Al-Ruwaili noted that such exhibitions and events will contribute significantly to reviewing the curricula and will enhance the dissemination of knowledge and awareness. “This will also enhance the importance of conducting research, studies and innovation that will effectively contribute to the development of our armed forces and enhance the outputs of the National Defense University,” he added.
