Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef unveiled on Wednesday the Strategy for Developing Human Capability in the Industrial and Mining Sectors along with the National Academy for Industry.

This significant announcement was made during the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference.

Held under the auspices of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, the event took place at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh, spanning from Feb. 28 to 29.

The newly launched strategy is designed to attract, develop, and empower talent, fostering an attractive work culture and supportive environment that enhances productivity and innovation.

This initiative is in line with the National Strategy for Industry and the overarching goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

Furthermore, the National Academy for Industry aims to offer specialized training programs for both experienced professionals and recent graduates.

It intends to bolster existing training institutes, provide incentives, and facilitate partnerships to address the industry's challenges and gaps.

Through collaboration with various training providers, the academy will introduce 18 distinct programs, thereby playing a pivotal role in coordinating the development of industrial human capital.
