Violators are at risk of facing fines up to SR100,000 and imprisonment for a maximum duration of six months. Additionally, expatriates found to be in violation will face deportation.

The directorate urges the community to play an active role in maintaining the integrity of the residency, labor, and border security regulations by reporting any infractions. Members of the public in the Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions can report violations by calling 911, while those in other regions of the Kingdom can use the emergency numbers 994 and 999 to make their reports.
