Saudi Arabia and Singapore explore judicial cooperation

RIYADH
— In a significant step toward fostering international legal collaboration, Saudi Justice Minister Walid Al-Samaani met with Singapore’s Minister of Home Affairs and Law K. Shanmugam.

The meeting, aimed at exploring avenues for enhancing judicial cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Singapore, underscored the mutual interest in strengthening the partnership in justice, conciliation, and mediation.

Highlighting the advancements in Saudi Arabia’s legal and judicial system under the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Al-Samaani showcased the Kingdom's progress in the legislative and digital realms. These efforts have significantly contributed to improving the efficiency and quality of judicial services within the country.

The bilateral discussion also ventured into the potential areas of collaboration, with both ministers expressing eagerness to fortify their cooperation.

Additionally, Minister Shanmugam’s visit to the Judicial Command Center offered insights into the digital innovations Saudi Arabia employs to monitor and enhance its judicial processes.
