RIYADH — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed on Wednesday a memorandum for financial support with the Iraqi Ministry of Environment.

The memorandum is aimed at funding projects for the survey, removal and qualitative control of territories contaminated with cluster munitions in some governorates of Iraq.

In a video conference ceremony, the memorandum was signed by Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court and General Supervisor of KSrelief Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, and Iraqi Minister of Environment Eng. Nizar Mohammed Saeed Amidi. The ceremony was held in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Iraq Abdulaziz Al-Shammari and Iraq’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Safia Taleb Ali Alsuhail.

This memorandum comes within the framework of the Saudi efforts made through the KSrelief to support friendly countries and peoples in various fields of humanitarian support
