CAIRO — The Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place near Moscow.

He described the attack as an act that cannot be justified under any pretext.

In a statement, Aboul Gheit expressed his deepest condolences to the Russian government and the families of the victims of the attack and also wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Jasem Al-Budaiwi too strongly condemned the recent shooting incident that occurred in the Russian capital, Moscow.

In his statement issued Friday, Al-Budaiwi expressed the unwavering stance of the GCC against all acts of violence, extremism, and terrorism, emphasizing their detrimental impact on global security and stability.

Al-Budaiwi extended condolences and sympathy to the Russian government, the people of Russia, and the families affected by this tragic event. He expressed his wishes for a swift recovery to all those injured in the incident.

In Jeddah, the Secretariat General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hussein Ibrahim Taha, also strongly denounced the armed terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall near Moscow on Friday.

The recent armed terror attack resulted in the loss of lives and injuries to numerous individuals.

The Secretary-General extended heartfelt condolences to the families of victims, as well as to the government and citizens of the Russian Federation.

He expressed wishes for a swift recovery for those injured and emphasized the organization's unwavering stance against terrorism in all its manifestations.

The Muslim World League too strongly condemned the armed terrorist attack that struck Crocus City Hall near Moscow, Russia.

In a statement, the league's General Secretariat emphasized the Islamic world's unwavering rejection of violence, terrorism, and extremism in all forms.

It expressed sincere condolences to the Russian government, the families of the victims, and wished a swift recovery to the injured.

Meanwhile, the UAE has strongly condemned the terrorist attack at a concert hall in a mall in Russia's capital, Moscow, which resulted in a number of deaths and injuries to innocent people.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed that the UAE expresses its strong condemnation of these criminal acts and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability in contravention of international law.

The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Russia, and to the families of the victims of this heinous crime. It also wished for a speedy recovery for all those who were injured.

In Manama, the Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a concert in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow, leaving dozens of innocent people dead or wounded.

In a statement, the Foreign Affairs Ministry expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s condolences and sympathy to the victims’ families, as well as to the Russian government and people, wishing speedy recovery for the injured.

The Ministry reiterated Bahrain’s firm stance in rejection of all acts of violence and terrorism, in all their forms, as they are heinous crimes that contravene all human and religious values and principles.

In Kuwait, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attack that targeted a commercial complex in the Russian capital, Moscow, leaving dozens dead and injured.

In a statement, the Ministry, while emphasizing the State of Kuwait's condemnation of this terrorist act and its rejection of violence in all its forms, calls on the international community to stand up to these terrorist acts that target civilians.

Kuwait extends its condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and to the Russian Federation, government and people, and wished a speedy recovery to all injured in this attack.

Also the government of Yemen on Saturday vehemently deplored the shooting rampage that targeted a concert hall in Moscow late Friday and claimed the lives of innocent civilians, including children.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Yemen's full support for Russia and its people, emphasizing its resolute stance against all forms of unjustified violence and terrorism, which undermine global security and stability and violate international law.

The Ministry also renewed Yemeni call on the international community to work unitedly to fight and combat all forms of extremism and terrorism.

The UN chief condemned in the strongest possible terms Friday’s deadly terrorist attack at a concert hall outside Moscow.

“The Secretary-General conveys his deep condolences to the bereaved families and the people and the Government of the Russian Federation,” said his Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq. “He wishes those injured a speedy recovery.”

The Security Council also condemned “the heinous and cowardly terrorist attack” in a press statement released on Friday evening.

“This reprehensible act of terrorism resulted in the grievous loss of dozens of lives,” Council members said, expressed their deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and to the Russian people.

The Council members reaffirmed that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security and underlined the need to hold perpetrators, organizers, financiers and sponsors of these reprehensible acts of terrorism accountable and bring them to justice.

They urged all sates, in accordance with their obligations under international law and relevant Security Council resolutions, to cooperate actively with the Russian government as well as all other relevant authorities in this regard. —Agencies
