JEDDAH —
The art collective teamLab and the Saudi Ministry of Culture have announced the construction of the teamLab Borderless Jeddah museum within the Jeddah Historic District. This marks the first permanent teamLab Borderless museum in the Middle East, showcasing over 50 experiential artworks utilizing digital technology.

Situated along the shores of Alarbaeen Lagoon, the museum offers stunning views of the Jeddah Historic District, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This initiative is part of the Ministry of Culture's efforts to transform the historic urban center into a dynamic cultural hub that mirrors the Kingdom's rich history and forward-looking spirit.

teamLab Borderless museums are known for their boundless worlds of interactive artworks, where art pieces move beyond rooms, interact, and sometimes blend with each other, offering visitors an immersive and exploratory experience. Since its inaugural opening in Tokyo in June 2018, where it attracted over 2.3 million visitors in its first year, teamLab Borderless has redefined the museum experience globally.

The introduction of teamLab Borderless Jeddah is a collaboration between the Saudi Ministry of Culture and teamLab, aiming to enrich the Kingdom's cultural landscape in alignment with Vision 2030's objectives to develop a vibrant cultural ecosystem.
