GCC-Central Asia strategic dialogue scheduled for April 15 in Uzbekistan

RIYADH —
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has announced the upcoming second ministerial meeting of the Strategic Dialogue between the GCC countries and Central Asian states, scheduled for April 15 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

This pivotal meeting, to be chaired by Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov will see the participation of foreign ministers from across the GCC and Central Asia.

GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohammed Albudaiwi emphasized his group's commitment to fostering stronger ties and strategic cooperation, guided by the Joint Action Plan for 2023-2027, signed in September 2022.

The dialogue will cover bilateral relations and significant regional and international developments.
