Saudi ministers convey leadership’s condolences on President Raisi’s death to Iranian officials in Tehran

TEHRAN— Prince Mansour bin Miteb, advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, minister of state and member of the Cabinet, and Prince Faisal bin Farhan, minister of foreign affairs, conveyed to senior Iranian officials the condolences and sympathy of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman on the death of Iran’s President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and a number of officials in a helicopter crash last Sunday.

The condolences were offered during the meeting of Prince Mansour bin Miteb and Prince Faisal bin Farhan with Iranian Presidential Assistant for Political Affairs Mohammad Jamshidi and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani at the Palace of Conferences and Summits in Tehran on Wednesday.

They prayed to God Almighty to bless the deceased leaders with His vast forgiveness and pleasure and accommodate them in His spacious Paradise. The reception was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Iran Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anazi.
