Saudi Gazette report

MAKKAH —
Ismael Maysounah, a Ghanaian man whose initial attempt to perform Hajj in 2013 was thwarted by illness, has finally realized his dream.

Maysounah was deeply saddened over the past ten years, continuously praying for another opportunity to undertake the spiritual journey.

His prayers were answered when he received a call from the Kingdom's Embassy in Accra, informing him that he had been selected to perform this year's Hajj under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program.

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Maysounah thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for the honor of participating in the program. He also expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance for their warm hospitality and generosity.
