JEDDAH — Leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman over the smooth and successful conduct of the annual pilgrimage of Hajj.
In a cable sent to King Salman, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), congratulated the King on the occasion of the success of the Hajj season 2024. The UAE president noted that the success of the Hajj season this year was achieved by the grace of Allah the Almighty, and the generous care of King Salman and his wise government and its institutions, to ensure that pilgrims can perform their rituals in tranquility and safety.
UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan also sent similar cables to the King.
Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of the Sultanate of Oman congratulated King Salman on the success of this year’s Hajj season. In a cable, the sultan congratulated the King and the people of Saudi Arabia for the success, and praised the Kingdom’s great efforts in serving the pilgrims.
In his cable of congratulations to King Salman, Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said the success of the Hajj season was achieved by the grace of God and the generous care of the King and his wise government and institutions, which mobilized and dedicated all their energies and efforts to make this Hajj season a great success.
The Amir also praised the progress of the expansion work carried out at the Grand Mosque, and the introduction of smart services and technologies at all Holy Sites, to meet the needs of pilgrims and facilitate their performance of the Hajj rituals.
The Amir also praised the significant role of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah, advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, and Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif for their tireless efforts and care, and the coordination among all sectors concerned with Hajj affairs.
The Amir prayed to God to accept everybody’s sincere supplications and good deeds during these blessed days, and to grant Saudi Arabia and its people further progress and prosperity under the wise and prudent leadership of the King.
Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah have also sent cables to King Salman to congratulate him on the success of the Hajj season.
Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah also congratulated Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the success of Hajj. In a cable sent to the Crown Prince, the Amir expressed his sincere congratulations on the great success achieved due to the generous care given by King Salman, the Crown Prince, and the Saudi government, represented by all ministries and sectors, which contributed significantly to its success.
Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah appreciated the expansion implemented at the Holy Mosque and the development of modern smart services and technologies throughout the Holy Sites that meet the needs of pilgrims and facilitate the performance of rituals. He expressed his appreciation for the role of Makkah Emir and Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif for their diligent and continuous efforts to coordinate and integrate between sectors to implement the Hajj plan in the best possible manner.
He prayed to God Almighty to accept and reward all parties involved in serving and facilitating the Hajj season and to bless Saudi Arabia and its people with more progress and prosperity under the leadership of the King.
Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah also sent a similar cable of congratulations to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani congratulated King Salman on the success of the Hajj season. In a cable sent to the King, Sheikh Tamim expressed his wishes for the Kingdom's further progress and prosperity. Deputy Amir of Qatar Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, also congratulated King Salman.
In a cable of congratulations sent to King Salman, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa attributed the great success of this year’s Hajj season to the tremendous efforts and generous care of the Monarch and the Saudi government, with all its ministries, sectors and concerned authorities, which have mobilized all their efforts and capabilities to successfully organize Hajj and serve pilgrims in an atmosphere of security, comfort and tranquility.
The King of Bahrain commended the ongoing expansion work carried out at the Grand Mosque, and the outstanding services and smart technologies used at the Holy Sites to serve the pilgrims. King Hamad wished Saudi Arabia further progress and prosperity under King Salman’s leadership.
Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also sent cables of congratulations to King Salman and Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the success of this year’s Hajj season.
