Shoura Council delegation starts official visit to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan

RIYADH
— A delegation of the Saudi-Tajik-Uzbek Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the Shoura Council, led by Council Member and Committee Chairman Dr. Muhammad Al-Jarba, began an official visit to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Al-Jarba stressed in a press statement that the visit aims to enhance cooperation in parliamentary relations between the Shoura Council and the parliaments of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and to strengthen relations in all fields.

He also explained the importance of the Council’s commitment to effective parliamentary and diplomatic efforts that contribute to strengthening bilateral relations and harmonizing positions in international and regional forums on various issues, to ultimately serve common interests.

During the visit, the delegation will meet with members of the corresponding parliamentary friendship committees and various officials from the two countries.
