Saudi Arabia condemns Israeli attacks in Gaza, calls for immediate ceasefire

RIYADH —
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly denounced and condemned the ongoing genocidal massacres against the Palestinian people by the Israeli military, including the recent targeting of displaced persons' camps in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Saudi Arabia has reiterated its call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, as well as for the protection of civilians isolated throughout the occupied Palestinian territories. It emphasized the need to activate international accountability mechanisms against ongoing Israeli violations of international humanitarian law and legitimate international resolutions.

The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned the Israeli authorities' massacre in Gaza's Khan Younis, where more than 100 Palestinians were killed or injured.

In a statement issued by the MWL Secretariat-General, the MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, denounced this heinous crime and the Israeli occupation's flagrant violations of all international humanitarian laws and norms. He emphasized the urgent need for the international community's intervention to stop this ongoing series of horrific massacres committed by the Israeli occupying forces.
