Summer Fruit Season begins in AlUla, showcasing local produce

ALULA — The Summer Fruit Season kicked off on Wednesday in AlUla Province, offering a variety of the finest local produce at the farmers' market in Al-Manshiyah Square.

The event, organized by the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), will continue until July 24.

The Summer Fruit Season serves as a marketing tool for agricultural products and raises awareness among farmers about the importance of sustainable agricultural practices that positively impact product quality and production abundance.

AlUla is renowned for producing the finest mangoes, grapes, figs, and dates, as well as Arabic frankincense, a traditional plant highly valued for its medicinal and cosmetic uses.

On its first day, the farmers' market in Al-Manshiyah Square witnessed an increasing number of visitors from different nationalities who came to participate in its events and purchase from its various exhibits and products. — SPA
