JEDDAH —
The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has announced that Air Samarkand (Sam Air) will inaugurate regular flights between Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan starting on 30 July. The new route will operate from Samarkand to Jeddah during the summer season of 2024.

This development is part of GACA’s ongoing efforts to enhance air connectivity and link Saudi Arabia with the world. The initiative aims to support the Kingdom's Vision 2030 by positioning Saudi Arabia as a global logistics hub, opening new horizons for travel, and aligning with the goals of the National Aviation Strategy.
