EL ALAMEIN, Egypt — Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Egyptian Minister of Health Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar received Saudi Minister of Investment Eng. Khaled Al-Falih in El Alamein City on Thursday, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Saleh Al-Hussaini. Al-Falih is currently on an official visit to Egypt.
The Saudi minister also met with Egypt's Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation Dr. Rania Al-Mashat.
During the reception, ways to expand the cooperation between the two sides, and enhance investment opportunities in the health sector, were discussed.
The Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister stressed the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries throughout history, and the aspiration to attract Saudi investments in everything related to human health, from pharmaceutical industries, complementary industries, and raw materials. Saudi Arabia and Egypt have a distinguished geographical location that makes them a gateway to support the arrival of investments in various fields of the health sector to the continents of Asia, Africa, and the Eastern Mediterranean region.
Al-Falih noted the efforts to enhance investment between the two countries, whether at the level of the government or private sectors, which aim to achieve the development goals by boosting profitable investments between the two sides.
