Border Guards rescue Bangladeshi resident after boat breakdown in Yanbu waters

MADINAH —
Search and rescue teams from the Border Guards in the Yanbu sector of the Madinah region rescued a Bangladeshi resident after his boat broke down at sea. The teams provided him with the necessary assistance.

The General Directorate of Border Guards has reiterated the importance of adhering to maritime safety guidelines.

They advise mariners to monitor weather conditions, exercise caution during adverse weather, and ensure that vessels are seaworthy before setting sail.

In case of emergencies, residents in the Makkah and Eastern regions are urged to call 911, while those in the rest of the Kingdom should contact 994.
