President of Pakistan receives Imam of the Prophet's Mosque

ISLAMABAD
— President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari received Sheikh Dr. Salah Al-Budair, Imam of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, at the Presidential Palace on Thursday.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Maliki and several other officials.

Asif Ali warmly welcomed Sheikh Al-Budair and his delegation, highlighting the strong fraternal ties and cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He underscored the importance of unity among Muslims, particularly during this critical period.

Sheikh Al-Budair expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and offered prayers for Pakistan's stability and the well-being of the entire Muslim nation.

This visit is part of a program organized by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, in collaboration with relevant government entities, to facilitate visits by Imams of the Two Holy Mosques to various countries.
