The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) has updated its IoT Regulatory Framework, now rebranded as the IoT Regulations, in a strategic move to promote investment and innovation in the Internet of Things (IoT) sector in Saudi Arabia.

The updated regulations aim to improve service quality and efficiency, enhance user experiences, and strengthen the overall regulatory landscape in the Kingdom.

The updated IoT Regulations will come into effect 60 days after their publication on the CST website. The changes are designed to streamline the process for service providers and investors in the IoT space, ensuring alignment with national regulations and adapting to the latest communication technologies.
