JEDDAH —
The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has signed a contract with Italian coach Luigi Di Biagio to take charge of the U-21 national team until mid-2026.

Di Biagio, who holds a UEFA Pro License, has previously coached Italy's U-20 and U-21 national teams.

As a player, he earned 31 caps for the Italian national team and played for top clubs including AS Roma, Inter Milan, Lazio, Monza, Brescia, and Ascoli.

The Saudi U-21 team is set to hold a training camp in Abha during the international break in September, in preparation for several upcoming regional tournaments.
