Riyadh to host 3rd Global AI Summit, spotlighting innovation and AI ethics

RIYADHThe third edition of the Global AI Summit will be held in Riyadh from September 10 to 12 under the slogan “For the Good of Humanity,” under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Saudi Arabia.

The summit will focus on a wide range of topics, including innovation in AI, turning points to shape the future of AI, and creating environments that stimulate human potential in AI. Discussions will also cover AI’s impact at local and global levels, the complementary relationship between humans and AI, business leaders in AI, generative AI, AI ethics, smart cities, and the infrastructure supporting AI technologies.

The summit aims to showcase the potential of AI in driving economic growth, societal progress, and talent development. It will bring together over 300 speakers, experts, specialists, and decision-makers from 100 countries to explore the best ways to leverage AI technologies.

Eng. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, Chairman of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), invited global AI specialists and policy makers to share their insights and frameworks to maximize the benefits of AI technologies. He emphasized that the summit aligns with Saudi Arabia's strategic objectives of advancing AI and data agendas, ensuring the Kingdom’s leadership in data-driven economies.

Saudi Arabia's commitment to AI is evident in its national strategy and initiatives aimed at harnessing technology for positive societal impact, positioning the country as a leader in AI transformation by 2030.
